The virus is taking over your entire body, but you still have a chance. Explore the quarantined area, gather information from immune survivors, and avoid the people who have turned into zombies. Use your knife to protect yourself, but remember that the real enemy isn't only the zombies outside.

As the virus progresses, your character starts losing control. You become nauseous, start vomiting, lose your sanity, and gradually become slower. You must use temporary medication to suppress these effects. But the medicine only provides temporary relief. If you can't find the antidote, the virus will eventually take complete control.
